All in all a pretty atrocious performance from Paire. Very bad. Jacob Fearnley was good enough to take a set off Djokovic at Wimbledon this year, though.

Too long a tennis calendar. First tourney starts Jan ,6th, last tourney 23rd Dec. To keep up with ranking you need to play, travel,play for 12 months. Its plain wrong, plain stupid

Hopefully he's just taking it easy to prevent an injury.. One of the best backhands I've ever seen and a great tennis entertainer. Miss seeing him on the tour. The first set Benoit Paire played okay. Just slow footwork when receiving which resulted in hitting net or errors. Still looked like quality tennis in the first set
