In terms of the points scheme, wouldn’t it be better to give the defenders the incentive to tag because the theme is defending as opposed to the attackers?
Could argue that the verbal praise side of the session is on the defenders, this is their extrinsic motivation. The attackers aren't going to get too much attention from the coach, so to keep intensity high for the defenders to bounce off, giving the scoring system to the attackers makes sense :)
