So basically we go kill a mini boss then literally just kill the bigger versions of them. Almost reminds me of the Wishender quest in a way during the dungeon. Kill the “smaller” ones before you summon the big bois
I must’ve done quite a few battlegrounds before realizing I had one of these, first time I did it I got a legendary specimen and a red border, quite happy with that ngl
If you haven't picked up the specimen yet, and someone in your fireteam spawns the demolishers in the battlegrounds and you kill them, the quest gets bugged. You wont get any rewards, you won't be able to spawn the demolishers in battlegrounds to get the assimilated beacon either. Happened to me before I knew what the quest steps were
UPDATE: I was able to complete it by just hanging out on Nessus till someone else spawned the three bosses. As long as you do some damage to all three bosses you should get the drops
Always loved your videos for solos but I’ve completely checked out on D2 this DLC. Still haven’t bothered finishing the main story never mind the season stuff I wasted £90 I guess 😂

According to what I have heard, killing the big three bosses gives you a guaranteed drop of a 400 radiolite sample you do not yet have, at least on the first completion. Can anyone confirm this?
I helped kill the 3 bosses on Nessus and I got the 400g sample. Had barely even begun the NES006 quest at that point. I haven't even defeated the Assimilated Demolishers yet.
Yes. After killing the 3 on Nessus I got a 400g sample. I don't know of anyone who went through the quest steps and killed them on Nessus that didn't get a 400g sample
If someone spawns them and you help kill them you get the rewards at the expense of the item. So it really doesn't matter who spawns them. That also means that if you don't actually have an item, while you can participate, you won't get any rewards.
I just tested this at daily reset, the Radiolite 400g specimen is once a week if you burn more keys all you'll get is world drops and the ghost multiple times.
I got the beacon without defeating any demolisher in any battleground. At least to my knowledge I didn't, possible a team mate did but I didn't think so.

@scu11slayer I figured it out. It was a spawning issue. Needed to go forward and then I went back to the spawn point of them. And they spawned in.
You can do this in Nessus Patrol in the Watcher's Grave too 👌🏻

i didnt do any of the steps i just waited for someone to spawn them and i got the rewards by helping them lol
I basically do the opposite, i wait until a couple of guardians are around the area, then i spawn them
there's another achievement for killing 5 assimilators , so you need the Battlegrounds for that

You can kill the same boss 3 times & still get it. You don’t need to kill different bosses
