I disagree partially.
Although its true that any material relationship has lust elements, but that doesn't mean there are zero love elements. Otherwise whats the purpose ? Why did God provide them to us?
Everything in this life is like a demo. You experience it, not satisfy, then relate to the ultimate. If you dont have the demo, you'll never try to know ultimate.
If you never been in a relationship, you will never experience the beauty(although incomplete) of it, then how can you relate to loving krishna directly ?
Start with what you have, honesty is the foundation of purity. Its Krishna's duty to make you pure, provided you are honest with Him.
