I always love to see how others tackle certain tasks and often pick up tips despite having done things a certain way for years. your pointer about tapping the movement holder to get the pivots seated on the 6139 video for example was a refreshing, 'oh wow' moment and I have tried that just an hour ago on a 6139 i'm rebuilding, while I find Seiko bridges align well that literally took two gentle taps for it to drop in. I find the reset pusher spring for the hour recording wheel can be a problem on these and have replaced them before, I have a brown bullhead in my drawer which I suspect will have the same problem as it runs and all resets with the exception of the hour recorder.
