You can skip the fumbling around with full control and just put a stop on your main phase for The First Eruption. That will stop when it triggers, and then you can just tap the land and remove the stop.
Ugin and bolas are very similar, never thought that they are brothers, the good thing about blood sun againt field od the dead is that it totally destroys the combo, well done bro

Ok chris, you want an army of bolas??? play jace cunning castaway with the bolas (if you have oath of teferi you can even make infinite bolas in 1 turn (+1 bolas then use castaway's ult, getr 2 bolas use their +1 and then use jace ult again, get 4 bolas YAY)
also not sure if lotus field is a good idea in a deck with 3 colors (since it produce 3 mana of 1 color it can be hard to cast bolas if all you have are lotus fields)
jace cunning castaway is only useful if you have both bolas and oath of teferi in play. He is a terrible card.
First game why did you sacrifice a mountain for the first eruption to deal three damage to each creature when there were no creatures?

Isn't there an infinite if you use one of the jace's that can make copies of itself with oath of teferi, and get bolas on board to +1 , then minus to make a copy of bolas etc.

Wily Goblin? Is that really the best use of that slot? How about 2x Elderspell? Then you have a whole other win con with Bolas even if they aren't running walkers, but if they are then you get cheap removal. Legion's End wouldn't be a bad alternative for the current meta either. And I know it's blasphemy, but Fblkthp might not be the best card here either, but if he IS run one Mox Amber to make up for the lost ramp of the Gobbo.
Oath of teferi and Jace castaway allow for even more copies to be made.
Ive been thinking always when im about to win, the servers come crashing down, but when im loosing it never happens, wonder if people use lag switches to fuck up the game not to recive a loss. Could have saved bolas there with callous dismissal, use it to take him back to cast him again at the end of the opponents turn.

Why not put jace cunning castaway since bolas can use his copy ability?
Because that Jace is garbage? That card is completely useless (hence no one uses him) and the only good thing to do with him is the infinite combo with Bolas, but that combo also requires Oath of Teferi which is a Blue and White card.
Including him in this deck would weaken this deck so much for no gain AT ALL.
@@LordKoKuyou I just figured he could maybe run one copy in the deck and possibly get the copy ability but I didn't mean base the whole deck around him but what u say is true though( the jace card does suck)

I think the connection errors are people using some sort of hack to not lose the game bc it happened to me multiple times when I was absolutely dominating and than outta no where the game freezes and it says connection error

Why do you sacrifice the Blood Crypt at 3:26. There's no creatures on field, you sacrificed the land for no reason. It's an optional sacrifice.

Yeah, the game always bugs out on me like that only when it's clear that my opponent is about to lose. I swear, it's like they crashed the game on purpose just to avoid a loss.
Maybe it's some kind of hack... it happens all the time to me, but only when my opponent realizes that he lost.
Worth checking whether it's still giving you credit for the win - there is a bug where you get a disconnect because the opponent conceded (but did it quickly while the game was still trying to do something else), but normally when that happens you still get credit for the win (but don't necessarily see 'Victory' or the rewards come up - that bit happens while you're still reconnecting - but daily quests/daily wins show that the increase has been added). Of course, it could be some other bug - it's not like Arena is all that stable...

@@chaosmastermind Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm starting to feel like that's one of the problems of Arena - too much conceding, so no-one gets to do 'the cool thing' (I'm as guilty as anyone else - it's too easy to think 'well this one's a loss, might as well just queue another'...). Not sure there is much of a solution (a 'no concede' queue would just be a hell full of ropers), but it definitely sucks when you don't get to actually 'win' after getting to that point.
@@danpearman270 Yeah well there is also the opposite problem.
I've seen the system actually warn my opponent that if they didn't stop doing the same thing over and over while durdling that the game would end in a draw. You know you're wasting everyone's time when even the game threatens to end because of it.
@@chaosmastermind Damn, I've never seen that one come up. Seen plenty of rope-outs and people who've run out of time because they wasted it (best was a guy who kept roping me when he was behind, then drew and played a big Expansion Explosion, but ran out of time on his discard step and the game dumped all his good cards into the graveyard :D), but never seen an actual draw warning - I guess that's the closest arena gets to a slow-play warning.

For The First Eruption's 3rd lore counter: put your stop in the main phase, not the beginning phase. I've seen you get scrooged by this too many times and it makes me sad.
