@@hooneystickzz1623 the cake is really big because there are a lot of people at the wedding and they would need to feed everyone, size differs depending on the number of guests and budget for example when my aunt married she only invited her siblings, parents and people she was close with so her cake wasnt that big

Try adding less oil/water/milk, baking for 5 minutes longer and wait for your cake to fully cool (on a rack preferably) before adding your frosting or icing 🥰 happy baking
