Your teaching has thrilled me from head to toes! I only must be faithful to survive and live with the Savior, our King of Kings. I love to hear the scriptures and other authors and how you rise above for a bird's eye view of God's Word. It thrills me, and I can hardly breathe.

There is nothing that says we have to give up our individual GOD-GIVEN rights. Nothing in those rights is in conflict with obeying Constitutional law. Being within the law does not mean we give up rights, for government is there to protect our rights. The rest is left up to us, and that means if we keep Gods law we will never be in conflict with righteous civil law. If we are in conflict with civil law and we are keeping God's law, that means that there is something wrong with the civil law. IOW, It is not in harmony with God's law.

You’re thinking all-or-nothing, and that’s the problem with our society. It’s a balance in all things. I don’t give up a whole God-given right. But I do let go of a little portion of it to accept the responsibility for others. For example, I have a right to the money I earn, all of it. However, I am willing to give up a portion of it in taxes to pay for roads and clean air and clean water and an army and police to defend me. I have a right to drive my car as fast as I want and where I want. But I have to balance that with everyone else’s right to safety. So often I drive much slower than I would choose to go in order to protect others. I have a right to free speech. But I can’t walk into a crowded theater and yell “Fire!” as a joke, if there isn’t one. I would be held accountable for any injuries that occurred in the panic. My right to free speech has to be balanced with public safety. That is what I was talking about. In order to be a safe and productive society, we each forego a small portion of our rights, for the good of society. Mosiah 29:32-34.
