@taraparker9297 I feel like if you want the finished piece to be a little stretchy I would say don't stretch it around your hips

I just made these shorts! I used 100% cotton yarn, in an off-yellow color, and I used a 4mm hook! I made a size small. It came out perfectly and fits perfectly! [I made another chain string around the waist because my waist is tiny compared to the width of my hips.] Thank you for the pattern! I appreciate your hard work!🌸🤗

@Naz_pazzaz when you say you made another chain around the waist what do you mean? I really struggle with things fitting both my waist and getting over my hips.
@@laurenmckenzie9318 I made a simple chain as long as the other one in the video. Then you loop the simple chain through the top row of the shorts, around your belly, and let it come out in the front in the same space where the front chain comes out. So when you put on the shorts, you tighten the chain around your waist, and then you tighten the front one you made in this video. When you tie them together in the front, you don't notice the simple chain around your waist holding the shorts up.😊 Let me know if you don't understand then I'll give you my deets so I can show you a photo.🌸

I'm having a hard time with my second leg. Its a little larger than the first leg. Is that normal??
My problem was it was soooo big at the top near my waist but fit perfectly at the bottom
Try making a chain of the length of your waist, then place it at waist level. It could solve the problem.

Hi, why did you remove 11 chains after you chained 120 stitches?
So that the waist can be tighter
So did you drop the stitches because it was the waist measurement & not the hips?
The dropped stitches get readded further down for the tie section

Put a marker in your first and last stitch of each row. Move it up as you add rows.

Have you tried subtracting more than 11 chains for the waist? I feel that it might cause a little puckering later. Another comment stated that the add an extra row of mess so that they can tighten it with a belt the made from chains. They said it blended well

Yes please they cater for the opening at the front and they are put back later in the video

You should always know where to place your first stitch when you turn otherwise you keep making an increase at the beginning of the row I’ll make detailed video on how to figure it this issue cause I think so many people are having issues with it I’ll address it during the week

Dommage les explications sont bâclées au niveau de la séparation des jambes. On ne voit pas quand vous faites le premier tout, comment vous tricoter sur la chainette qui a servi de séparation. du coup je suis bloquée à cet endroit!!!
