both actually have index file, technically its not index file but for convenience lets term it as index file, only difference is nand program and erase cycle is costly. SSD's having DRAM load this index files into its dram for quick access and for changes to be made, thus not using program and erase cycle of nand flash, and accessing data in dram is far quicker than accessing data from nand flash. there will be considerable difference if you look into IOPS(Input/Output Operations per Second) value of two drives.
But still Nand will be faster than HDD right?
I just want this as my Secondary Storage for *installing games* , some Softwares and literally dumping

I've purchased a same SSD Crucial BX500 1TB and using it as an internal SSD storage drive for my desktop system but I'm not getting promised speed on write operation.
Read speed is very much same (540 Mbps) issue is with only write operation.
Current Configuration :
OS is running on NVME SSD 500GB
Bios SATA Mode is set on AHCI
Can any one help me with this problem ???
Same for me too getting write speed of 10-30mbps
That's the difference of DRAM Cache. I've MX and it gives 500MB/s write speed

yes. if the motherboard says ddr3 then it will only take ddr3 ram.

crucial bx500 500gb ka TBW 120 hai matlab is ssd par total 120TB Data write kar sakte hai. jab 120TB data write ho jayega to uske baad ssd kabhi bhi kharab ho sakti hai.
1 TB = 1024GB . 1000 maan lete hai abhi.
to, 120 TB = 1,20,000 GB.
To agar tum roj 10GB data download karte ho ya write copy karte ho apni ssd me to ssd 32 years tak chalegi. par kyoki electronics ki life itni nahi hoti kayi baar koi chota sa capacitor yr kuch aur cheez ssd me kahrab ho sakti hai. to life average 10 saal to maan hi sakte hai. Par future ka kuch kehe nahi sakte. kai baar sasti cheez bahot lambi chal jati hai aur mehengi zaldi kharab ho jati hai.

yes. Bx would be good as secondary.
Os would be running from the nvme and secondary can be used as storage.
I don't understand what his saying but to cut it short, BX500 doesn't have a DRAM Cache unlike the MX500, and this can lead to lower performance.

Gigabyte lelo kyoki uski replacement tumko easily mil rahi hai.
Mx500 has DRAM which improves its life and has higher TBW thats why it has 5 yrs of warranty. Dram can also make the speed faster by about 10%.
These do not matter much for the average user but it is better to use mx500 if you are using it as a boot drive.
I have a mx500 ssd 250gb, can i install windows on it? And should i install it in place of my old hdd or use it with a caddy?

yes. any of these should run on your mobo without any issues.

i have not used wd. so, i can't say anything about it. However wd is a good brand and most company even less known ones are making good drives.
I would personally go with whichever is cheaper buy when i'm buying them.
