One thing about it is that at least in my area right now, it is fairly available. So it’s a limited product that I don’t need to chase, which is cool. Haven’t cracked mine, but looking forward to it, thanks for the review!
New subscriber. Was drinking this bottle with you. Spot on review. I feel good with this price in today’s market. Punches above its class. Looking forward to new reviews.
Thank you, Adam. I appreciate the sub, too. Make sure to check out my page for newer videos. Being g a small channel, RUclips doesn't always push my content. 🥃
Just picked one up today at msrp. Can’t wait to try it after all the good reviews. Headed to Catonsville in November for my brothers wedding and I’m gonna hit up your spot….Drug City. Excited for that
Ross and Squib is one their distilleries just like Lux Row and Limestone Branch. Those distilleries have about 50 brands including whiskey brands like Remus, Rossville Union, Ezra Brooks, Penelope and Yellowstone. They also make tequila, Irish whiskey and even Everclear. MGP owns those distilleries and brands but the name of the parent company is MGP Ingredients. They trade on the NASDAQ under the symbol MGPI.
First and foremost thank you for the hunting advice! Great honest review as usual. However, I got burned with the VI. May give it another shot and pick up the VII based on strength of your word. It sits on shelves where I’m at.
I remember being in a shop when they were putting the 5 on the shelf for $99. Didn't know much about it then and I was actually looking for something else. Keep grinding! 🥃
@@DaveVogelsang-b8v what? I finally have something that you don't! 🤣🤣🤣 Save some money and let me get you a sample first. It's good, but the price.... 🥃
Great review Myron! Since I've slowed it way down and being selective on what I'm buying, highly doubt I'll get this. I'm already setting aside to get that Westward barrel pick yourself and the crew are doing. Cheers! 🤙
100% agree - I just cracked mine last night. Mouthfeel was a letdown for me. Good flavor overall, but I expected more complexity. The finish was smooth, and pretty long. I also enjoyed the cherry notes. I will enjoy this one, but for me it’s not a repeat buy.
If your budget doesn't mind having a really, well aged and well crafted, 100 proofer, I say go for it. I liked it better at $85, but I think those days are lo g gone. Appreciate the question and you watching! 👊🏾🥃
Can’t bring myself to do it with all the great stuff that’s releasing and is about to be released! The V was good I didnt like 6 or 7 especially for about 120 bones out the door! Cheers Myron!!👊🏻
@@BourbonDrop You made the right call. My bottle of VI got opened right after it hit the shelves and it’s still 3/4 full. I basically only drink it side by side with the future releases so it’ll be good to get rid of some when I finally snag the VIII
@@BourbonDrop batches aside, a lot of people had it in their top 10, right? Less proof, undisclosed distillate I believe and higher price than the Remus. For the price, the Remus VIII or Gatsby?
Alot of money for a MGP product 🤔, i can buy 2 bottles of 4 roses single barrel, small batch Select or WT Rare Breed for the same price which are very good 👍 Cheers 🥃
I passed on this one but did find it for $90! I’ll be revisiting this one asap!
$90 is a steal. Those were yesteryear's prices. I remember when you could get them for that. Enjoy! 🥃

Great information🥃
Sounds like it’s going to open up real nice. Looking forward to this.
I'm going to let sit for a week or 2 and go back to it. I'm loving that cherry note. 🥃
Nice review brother think I will pick one up !
@jamesberry6106 Thanks! Had it not been for the price, it would have been a full, recommend! 🥃

But it’s the market right now .
I appreciate that you got this.
I'll buy it after your review.

Thanks, and you're welcome! Always happy to help a fellow hunter. Yeah, I skipped 6 after hearing poor reviews from channels that I trust. 🥃
Man, that 8 sounds right up my alley. I'm hunting it for sure. Hasn't dropped in my area yet. Thanks for the video, cheers.
Beautiful cherry notes! 🥃
We just picked this up yeaterday... we really like it. The age of that 17yr really shows up in the oaky finish for us.

Appreciate the review. Paying $100 for a 100 proof is a no go for me. That’s why I pass on bottles like 1924.
