I remember being here at 8 years old, Took the Metrolink with my dad, got there at 10 am for a night race, and left at midnight. Leaving the track happy, ears ringing, and a pocket full of die-cast cars. What I would do to go back live this day all over again. Thank you uploading this and making it as crisp as my memories recall.
Jeez I wish they invested in today's broadcast like they did back then. I don't even necessarily mean with money, but just with time and care. Even the prerace show is quality and in-depth, whereas today is so surface-level in comparison.

Three years ago, someone found 16:9 NASCAR races from 2006, & now we have found more, but in HD! I don’t know if you have any of the 2005 races in HD but if you do, praise the lord! Any of Jeff Gordon’s wins from 2005 like 2 of the Martinsville races & Talladega will be satisfying to go along with the already glorious 2005 Daytona 500 in HD. Also on my smart TV? I even get to listen to this race in 5.1 surround sound! 😏

I feel like if they tested the Gen 7 with a regular front end like this car has and take the underbody stuff off, the cars would race better everywhere and the change is so simple and inexpensive. Just test it and see what happens. If it sucks, then move on. You'd think they'd want to make the product better to make more money, yet they're so stubborn about making those types of changes.

@ unfortunately, those don’t even exist. All of the NASCAR races on NBC & TNT in 2003 were televised in 4:3.

You should see if u can offer them to nascar so they could upload them to the nascar classics if they wanted so they are permanent.
