Extremely powerful! I’m gonna have to check this out. I want to add that for a long time, people say their pets have ‘crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge’. When you came to that card and read what the book said, it occurred to me that animals automatically go to the Bridge when they pass because they are ‘innocent’ not in the way humans should be, but because they don’t live by the constructs and so-called ‘higher thinking’ that we humans have. They live by their nature and their instinct. Even when evil humans use them for their own evil pleasures (ie: dog fighting & cock fighting) they are still innocent.
Love the Shimmering Veil Tarot AND the Book of the Dead is just a pure home run hit, I use Cosma Visions a LOT for past life work, but the Book of the Dead is different for me-more afterlife, more what work you are doing in the afterlife or between lives whereas I lean more into the past life itself with Cosma Visions, if that makes any sense. So glad you picked this up!
I have done some really profound work with this deck. I have even used it with family members who were opening and doing their own spiritual work to prepare for their transition. It is often a comfort or affirms the spiritual aspect of what starts coming in in the days before their passing. I am a psychotherapist who has worked with death and dying aiding individuals in transition and also grief work with those who have lost a loved one. It is very powerful and most definitely a deck that should be used with ethics, respect and permission. I feel it is definitely a deck you can work with in your present lifetime to access what needs to be worked with and how connect with our spiritual contract, blue print and lesson for this lifetime we can glean information that is important to sit with and explore or aspects of self that need to be remembered, also ways to connect to our guides and the energies that support us in our lifetime.

The one with the path across the grass headed to the evergreens. All I could think of is the movie What dreams may come. If you haven’t seen it… it’s a must watch and totally relates to this deck and path.

I would so love if you gave us a past-life reading example on your channel. I love when you walk us through your tarot readings in recent videos and would totally love an example of this style of reading....so I have somewhere to start for myself. I haven't ever tried doing one as I don't know where to start. Please think about teaching us all how to do one on your channel. Love your work and you're down to earth approach. Thanks for this in depth walk-through, Lisa. I have the Shimmering Veil and love Cilla's artwork. I "feel" like i need this deck, but I'm just not sure how I'd use it. My spirituality is not very traditional, it's more of a pantheistic view of all of the natural world. Some of these cards just don't fit at all. So I'm trying to figure out a way to use this. Perhaps for shadow work? Perhaps removing some of the problematic cards? Some other way I haven't thought of yet? I'm putting it on my wish list without knowing how or why it might serve my practice.

Also my boyfriend that passed away and just recently my dad 💔😢 I mean... I talk to them and commune with them already anyway... Invite them to join me in ritual etc etc. So whats the difference I guess? Its a gorgeous deck and I'm sure very powerful! My other concern is that I'm not exactly sure what I believe in.. I am an Eclectic witch so I pull my so-called beliefs from different things and I'm not so sure that I resonate with the idwe of the levels of Realms in the afterlife that this deck speaks of. With that being said I am on the fence about buying it because if I do not resonate with the whole entire idea of the deck that I'm not sure that it is particularly for me.
