If you ever do this again, you should give them only 1000$, and they have to buy everything else (firing systems, racks) and they could choose where they shop, and how much of the budget they put into equipment, and how much they put into fireworks.
The firing system and racks would take up your whole budget even if you built the racks yourself, the HDPE tubes are 2.50$ each, and even if the tool the budget root on the firing system, an I18 is still like $200, so you would have barely any money for and fireworks
Great shows to both of you. My only disappointment was the pin wheel, from what it looked like the fountains were pointed at each other and their force was counter acted by their counterpart. 2 things IMHO would have worked, angle the fountains so they all push in one direction as much as possible and putting fins on it would have helped moved the smoke. Looking forward to the annual event. ❤❤❤

Awesome shows! I thought Garrison was going to pull it off when Cody's wheel smoked out, but I think Cody won with his layered effects. Like when the howlers were going off and cakes underneath. Beautiful! Good job guys. Cody, more great content that you came up with was when you had family and friends compete and make shows.

Both shows were insane!!! Next time though to make it harder you should only be able to hand light, and you can only use the tubes that come with the shells. Also damn dude props to you for editing all the separate names in the video scroller!
This was a blast (no pun intended)! I would love to see this again with the extra challenge of making the shows pyro musicals. Maybe even integrating themes. (Disney, holidays, different music genres, etc) 🎆

I believe that the fountain racks were worth it. I also really liked the effort put into the wheel. Learning experience: lighter weight material and kick start with a rocket. There's a type of plywood called Luan.

I think that Garrison's use of the rockets was actually really good, I wish someone had used them a bit as the body of the show. Garrison's use of the split cakes was awesome, but he had a lot more blank sky, which is where(in my opinion) Cody beat him the most. Both shows were epic!
Garrison's show was AWESOME (He should charge double for his shows) CODY'S started off as a fire Hazzard, (Just clowning😂)Cody the wide shot was AWESOME, Cody was an assult on the eyes and ears, I can't pick who is better, your both have color and dynamic range, Cody's had a softer and slower mid_range and more blast of color at the end, you guys need to join forses and one make the beginning and one make finally, that would be the best mix of both your talents.
Tons of content could be created with this model. You could have several teams that compete against each other one on one with different sets of rules. Lots of possibilities!

I really feel for you guys having to deal with the Mosquitos... You can tell they're out en masse... I know for a fact that I've seen quite a few flying in front of the camera lens... I live in Florida, so I can completely relate to your situation...
Looked like the wheel didn’t turn freely because the fireworks were placed straight out. Next time angle them so the thrust is more in line with the edge of the wheel and use some cheap metal bearings.
We watch a lot of CodyB, so that might influence my opinion. I was nervous Garisson's would be better, but I agree that Cody deserved the win this time. It might have been different if all Garrison's fireworks fired, but such is life. We have a lot of similar, or the same, product and we planned on doing a lot of things similar to Cody's show, but now I have a few more ideas. Maybe I'll sneak them in this year, but I'll probably test this year and incorporate it next year. We tried the fusing method last year and incorporate it all the time now, including a 3x2 rack. Three steady shots with 2 sec fuse, delay as it wraps around, then the other 3 shots in the same way. Shot the Showline titanium willows that way and it's like a nice cake at half the cost!
