Something that strikes me about the man is his pose. Its so eerily and fittingly similar to the depiction of The Hanged Man (XII) The twelfth Major Arcana which represents ultimate surrender, sacrifice, or being suspended in time. That's simplifying it, but the Falling Man always reminded me of it.
