- Alvin Daniell interviews Ronnie Mc Intosh after his victory as the joint Soca Monarch of 1997. You get to look back at Ronnie's career as a lead singer with Chandilier and his transition to a sole performer where he gave us memorable soca performances.
I really love this series. So much incredible culture information, wrapped up in a lovely entertaining package. Great job Mr. Daniel.
Love Ronnie ❤
Ronnie McIntish was once a member of Shandileer in the 1980s' i.e. "Happy". He won the Road March 🏆 in 1998 with "How It Go Look".
The 1998 Road March was “Footsteps” by Wayne Rodriguez from Xtatik.
@@Tellylove12 You're right 👍 Sorry but didn't he win the Road March 🏆?
@@Tellylove12 I guess not 🚫 Machel took the Road March 🏆 in 1997 with Big Truck 🚛 🚒.
@@riyadhrafique8377 Ronnie McIntosh has never won a Road March. He has won Soca Monarch in 1995 and in 1997 in a tie with Superblue.
@@Tellylove12 I believe that
Can you upload 1993 Soca Monarch
Uncle Alvin, the band is Shandileer not Chandileer- you probably thinking of a chandelier 😂
Didn't know he was Art De Corteau's son.
Yup. Like father like son!!
