- The Faculty of Law is one of Lund University’s four original faculties, dating back to 1666. Over 350 years, we have developed knowledge within jurisprudence - through research, education and engagement with wider society - which finds applications in all parts of society.
Juridicum, the Faculty of Law’s main building, lies in the medieval heart of the city of Lund - where one thousand years of history meet the very latest in research. Our two buildings, together with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute across the street, form a dedicated campus for law research and education, characterised by innovation and creativity as well as gender equality and diversity.
We have a clear international profile, reflected in the international focus of our research and in our cooperation with universities all over the world. Besides University-wide networks such as LERU and U21, we have a lively exchange at the faculty level, on both research and education, with leading universities in the Nordic area and the US, Canada, Asia and Australia.
