You definitely installed the hood dampers wrong. You’re supposed to install them on the inside of the bracket. You’re also supposed to remove the hood prop. I have the same ones and no problems with fitment.
I got the storage thing a while back, and it keeps falling, it's annoying ASF. & I have the same dashcam except without the rear, and I LOVE it. It's so crystal clear, esp at night.
Looks like where you’re mounting hood damper on the hood on the outside of the L bracket. Mount it on the inside and you should have clearance. And the other side, remove the OEM hood prop since it’s hitting it and you will no longer have use for it.
Hey Chris. Certainly not your best work, but I understand why after reading the description. I wonder if you could research hood struts to find a set that works as advertised. I know you're an Android user, but Apple CarPlay is wildly popular. Maybe review a wireless CarPlay solution. I have had mine for some time and it's fantastic! Wasn't that expensive either. The video quality on the rear dash cam was abysmal at best. Looking forward to the future.
