Very cool. I probably won't build it myself, but I will take inspiration from it for my Classic Space display (which I will be showing on your Discord).
Oh hey, I built this. Mostly awesome, but definitely some fragility issues. Additionally, some parts where a certain specific mold of the brick is required. But still the best spaceship Lego (hasn't) made in years.
So that is the thing they do in science fiction that does not make sense is where they will have something that has exposed functional parts. I'm assuming they're doing that because that's the way our car is but if something flies you're going to more likely see it from underneath so you wouldn't want that from aesthetic point of view and if it's flying of course air resistance exists on the bottom of the craft. If it is a purely space you could go with either argument that it could be as lumpy bumpy it doesn't matter because it's in a vacuum or you could say that you wanted a streamlined just for the protection of vital parts.
It could make sense as a couple things Maybe it is for ease of maintenance, not having to remove panels from your ship if it breaks down in the middle of space sounds like something that could save lives. Maybe manufacturers and customers simply don’t care about the bottom. It’s not like you’re looking at it for the most part, and if you’ll rarely be close enough to a flying spaceship to look at the bottom, it’s also flat down there, so no need to make pretend. Finally. It’s a hold up from car manufacturing. Plenty of things right now are the way they are, just because “that’s how we’ve always done it”. People generally like things to look like they expect them to look, so perhaps in the future, spaceship manufacturers won’t even think about adding extra panels (possibly at extra cost to them) if they can get away with this look and just call it a “classic design”
Is there an easy way to swap out colors For example if I would like to have this in only black/grey/white would this be able to change in the studio program?
Have you watched Lego Masters? It is a reality TV show that cares more about drama and absurdly big builds so they can drop, blow it up, sink it, set it on fire or whatever. They could care less about complex building techniques.
@@tmandoesgamesv2.018 My brother in christ that thing isn't going to fly anywhere. It's not a NASA Space Shuttle, it's a completely made up whacky design. Ever heard of "imagination"?
Please please cover more of these builds!! 🙏🏾
After this, I absolutely will!
@@DuckBricks You sir are a LEGEND!! I've seen his RUclips videos but always wanted to be able to actually buy his stuff or seen it reviewed!
Classic space Mocs are the goat
And UFO (97) mocs. 😁👍
the angles and part usage are truly a marvel to behold
3,000 peices and that thing doesnt even look like legos anymore and still fits in your hands, holy crap
It's called lego bricks, not legos🤦♂️
@@MosesAyemewell then if we're being specific, it's really just 'lego'
@@A_Minor_Mistake if you wanna get real technical it's Lego Systems or play well
Gotta admit, this is the most beautiful lego spaceship ever
looks like a giant speed champions build! So amazing!
YOOO That hungarian bricklink store! Bought from there before for my Ghost moc. Awesome build and video! Hungarian Duckbricks fans rise!

best things i love about mocs are I can recolor them to my choice!
Ngl I was honestly waiting for that ship to drop out of your hands the entire intro.
i would add my flare to it but even as it is,.. amazing
the control to carry that with ONE hand AND walk BACKWARDS 💀💀💀💀
Chris: Are you going to make your own lego set with Ideas 💡?
Spaceship!
Very cool.
I probably won't build it myself, but I will take inspiration from it for my Classic Space display (which I will be showing on your Discord).
That might be a difficult custom build, but I think It’d be more interesting to see what you think is the most difficult official LEGO set build?
i'd like to see a micro build of that ship. i'd do it, except too many of my Lego parts are either broken or missing.
That’s saying a lot since you build all the time!! Holy smokes👀👀
I KNOW - blew my mind
New intro is lit 🔥
The only problem with differently aged paarts is that bricklink has merged many into same listings so this does not help at all anymore

this reminds me of spongebob cuz I NEED IT! 😂

Yes! Studio has a lot of easy ways to swap colors
@@DuckBricks thank you 🙏 great video! I would have never found this crazy build
Man, if you'd only built this before you were on Lego Masters. You probably could have won with some of these techniques!
🤣🤣

Let’s go
Don't know what it is, but this video feels like a massive step forward in production quality for your videos, huge congrats @duckbricks
Lego Technic level 20 > Lego System level 100...... :)
Please stop walking backwards on stairs it makes me anxcious. Or I'm calling your mother!
That design is Rhetarded, There’s too much everything sticking out in every direction. How would you fly that and not get caught on debris?…
Looks like someone doesn't like fun imaginative designs...
@@Zaney616 it’s a simple question buddy…
