While the main concept is derivited the execution is so masterfull that it genuinely doesn't matter. It's just an outline, the actual jokes, set pieces, ideas, and animation are what is truly on display and they are absolutely wonderful. In the end if we just cared for the bare concept there being nothing but rip offs cause in the famous words "Simpson did it"
