This was a great series. Your ability to take an engine which most would say trash it, and make it a new engine again is nothing short of a master mechanic. Great set of skills AJ
It looks sounds and runs great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
Thank you very much buddy! I always appreciate your comments.
You definitely got a great set of skills to get this classic Kohler engine back in running condition again again AJ thanks for your posting this video on this one 😊
nice job, wel done.

Good morning from Southeast South Dakota AJ
Love the red cap. Made it stand out just right. Now ship that engine this way so I can put it to work.
Lovely work and it sounds good 😊
Very fine Job, congratulation!
Excelente motores para todo tipo de trabajo.
Now to build a gokart for the laaities... :D
Your work is excellent, here in Spain Kohler engines have great reputation and reliability, they are very hard. I was surprised by the decision to freeze the crankshaft for installation, a great success in shrinking the crankshaft microns, thank you and regards.
Merci beaucoup, pouvez vous expliquer comment régler les vis platinées ?
Je refais 2 moteurs K301, et de combien est le couple de serrage de la culasse stp 😊
😬🫢 ~ we can see why that particular style of pull-start didn’t go for very long = having to manually put the cord around the wheel thing on top of the fan & it being a fully exposed spinning, when running waiting to catch your hand or a loose thing 😖. The “much later” attached re-coil-pull-starters were much safer and convenient ✅
A.J Lank gewag maar dit was die moeite werd. Pragtige werk soos altyd 🎉🎉🎉
Wow AJ, that engine really turned out nice! It looks great and it runs so smoothly, you did a fantastic job on the rebuild and restoration! Really enjoyed the series on this engine, hope there is more to come!
Too pretty to use!
BTW, why the change to a straight pipe for the exhaust? Less resistance, therefore more efficient?
Thanks for the video! My take is that Kohler is the best 4 stroke engine and Robin the best 2 stroke.
Great work as always 👏👏
Beautiful little engine. Thanks for sharing!
Hello AJ beautiful restoration good job well done
Nice 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Very nice restoration
Perfection 😁😁!!!
Nicely done. 👍
Great job ! Looks better than new. And after three parts....
It finally runs ! Congrats !
I have never taken apart a Kohler engine like that before. I've always tinkered on Briggs engines. So much simpler to take apart and put back together.
Nice job with this one!
CAN'T WATCH THIS , I WON'T BE WATCHING ANY OF YOUR VIDEOS AGAIN.
All the best to you buddy! Love you!
All that work and no oil in the sump...
There is oil in the sump. I just didn't show me pouring oil in it.
@@AJRestoration LOL That was sarcasm... for the kids that think everything must be recorded and presented. Because you really don't know you way around an engine.
Ya el motor kohler, no se conoce. Yo lo trabaje mucho tiempo.
