I thought it was in the Trevally family but I'm in Australia and don't know what they are called locally in the States. It's funny how the same breed of fish can have different names around the world.

We called that fish Ulua here in Hawaii and Samoa. That’s the bigger size for Papio. One of the best to fried. Enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe out there

Cap what are those two black pillars in the back of the pilothouse? Looks like maybe a speaker is attached, or a fan? I've been watching your videos for a long time and just noticed them now!
Those black pillars is where the wires are hidden behind it and also they have the speakers of the stereo. And thank you for watching captain

Hello cap! Question for you. You have a single engine and you go to the Bahamas. I down sized from 2 engines to 1, now my insurance company wants to increase my insurance from $1600 to $3700 for coverage in the Bahamas because I have one engine. Can you tell me who is your insurance company.

Just was wondering when a fish is brought up that fast and you throw it back it's in the middle of dying from the bends because their eyes are popped out already

Not all deep fish get barotrama. If a fish has barotruma their stomach comes out of their mouth and their skin is real rippled plus you’ll sea air bubbles while they come up. I didn’t see any of that JT HOOKED N ROLLING OFFSHORE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🐠🐟🎣🛥

That is a Black Jack no barotrauma Fish that goes up and down the water column are adapted to change in pressure...The Black Jack is not a bottom dweller like a grouper

Hey Captain, not too far away from honeymoon island i caught that big 48" AJ. Did you figured out what kind of fish was that? looks like a Pompano but I'm not an expert, anyhow good shots and video, btw pretty heavy winds we got on that island, im glad it didnt rain we had all the hatches open and what a beautiful way to sleep inside the boat...
