You got to break the word embarazados in two embara=bara=short for barato=inexpensive, azado=grilled, so what he was selling was affordable, cheep or inexpensive grilled shrimp kabobs. Bara is short for barato, but it's not a good Spanish, yet it's a slogan which is part of the Mexican folklore.
