Hi Dr John. I'm really enjoying your videos. They're excellent. I fish the River Tyne in Northumberland, England. It's a good river but doesn't look as good as the Morrum! I'm very jealous. I love seeing the takes on your videos. I've just bought a shoulder harness for the go pro so hopefully I can get some better shots. Hopefully get some scenes like yours! I'm really enjoying putting the videos up on you tube so far.Just trying to find a method of recording that doesn't get in the way of my fishing! It's sometimes a bit tricky pressing loads of buttons whilst playing a fish. Keep the coming Dr John.
Ha yes red and black works great all over the world in whiskey colored water for salmon and steelhaed, my go to color. great job , cheers from Northern indiana usa
Hej Dr. John. Thanks for the great vids! Ive been in Mørrum this spring, but without result, which didn't matter much since the river itself is such a great experience all by itself. I was thinking about getting into the two hand flyfishing, but im a complete beginner to the two hand rod. What kind of set would you recommend for a N00b on the Mørrum?
+Anders Jensen Hi! I’m using a 13,7 ft or a 12,6 ft rod and the fly line is a #9. That works fine for me but I’m not fishing the Mörrum River in the spring when the water is high. From late May a rod 11-14 ft in length and a fly line #8-10 will normally work fine. /John
Hei DR.John.
Again....Thank you very much for share it !

Doc
the most extraordinary salmon take I've ever seen at 1:26. Awesome.
Just one question: Why on earth the sad music at the end of your vids?
+The Heik Hi,
Simply because I like it.
/John

/John

Very cool! Thank you
Very nice year... What weight fly rods do you use? Tippet size?
Hi! Normally a 13,7 or a 12,6 feet rod, 9# fly line. Tippet 0,30 mm /John
DrJohnThe Angler.....Thank You
Love to watch this. What rod class and setup do you use in this video? grain weight?
Hello dr John, how and where do you mount the camera? I assume it's a Go-Pro!
Hi, Yes it's a GopPro. I use a wrist mount and duct tape, fixed to my fly vest. /John
hi i fish a private beat of morrum on 29 and 30th of may this year what size flies and colours would you use at this time?
+blackwaterhackles Hi. The number one fly in Mörrum is Ullsock (a variant of Brown Bomber, wet variant). 2-3 cm in length will do fine. /John
Which rod do you fish? length and class?
+Talos353 Hi, In summer and autumn i normally use a 12,6 Guideline Lpxe. Line #9.

Hej,
