I recently bought the mini 3 after owning the mini 2 for 18 months, the mini 3 is definitely an upgrade over the mini 2, the things i appreciate the 3 has over the 2 are: better camera/longer flight times/can take the plus battery/quieter/vertical camera mode/better stable, smooth flight/no more gimbal judder when in sport mode which the mini 2 suffers from!
Beginner drone operator here I just purchased this last week $100 off at Costco came out to $299.99 dollars. Can’t wait to really be a pro for longer distances. Thanks for video

I'm considering upgrading to this because my mini SE somehow so unrelieable in the mountain. I make content up in the mountain and it's been 2 times it got error, probably software stuff because when I update it, it got back to normal. I lost probably once in a lifetime moment where the view is amazing while my friends were all present.
Considering this one or the mini 2 SE, mostly for the DJI RC, is it really better than the rc n1? I am afraid I wont be able to see well in bright conditions with the screen of my phone. Is it worth the price difference for that reason? What are your thoughts? Thanks for the video.
I am about to purchase one after having done a lot of research - this the little drone is the best value for money I believe. I would rather advise buying the Mini 3 instead of the Mini 2SE because the 3 has 4K video. The MINI 3 Pro has the exact same camera capabilities pretty much. The Pro in my opinion isn't necessary unless you want to be able to slow down your video and then being able to capture 60fps will be great for that. The lack of obstacle avoidance with the MINI 3 isn't a big deal to me personally as I will be shooting aerial shots and video well clear of any obstacles. I am getting the MINI 3 Fly More Combo which comes with all together 3 batteries, repair kit, charging dock, shoulder bag.
@@geoffcalitz i actually got the mini 2 SE. It is very nice indeed. And do not care much about the 4k, after watching several videos, my lay eye, doesn't really see any difference, specially on a cell phone. Later on i will get the Avata 2 in order to have a different experience and that will come with 4k, by then i will be more skilled and actually appreciate the difference. Thanks for your reply! I would recommend the Mini 3 over the Mini 2 SE for the camera. You can capture vertical videos natively, it can capture 48MP photos, it also performs nicely in low light and can capture HDR video. Yes! Great point, I would suggest that everyone learns how to fly manually without relying entirely on intelligent flight modes.
Just got the MIni 2 SE for my wife did look at the 3 just a bit out of budget however if she gets on with this will upgrade to a later model next year
