Flood waters claim 4 lives in Kitui, Makueni

Four lives were lost in Makueni and Kitui counties following Monday night’s heavy downpour. Kenya red cross has now put the number of people displaced by floods at 50,000 countrywide. Disaster management officials are worried about the possibility of water borne disease outbreaks in affected areas.

Heavy rains comes with floods , even in very developed countries we see houses flooded and farm lands . The difference is what government does to help the victims. I hope kenya is ready for this.
