Same na same pala tayo ng problem. Dahil nag leak yung old battery, natunaw yung black wire na connected sa battery junction. And also kaya pala hirap akong tanggalin yung back cover kasi natakpan ng warranty sticker yung middle left screw 😅. Thank you very much, ma rerepair ko na din itong classwiz ko.
so mine is same calculator, i sent to a repair shop, no better, now i opened it up and i see no wires but a battery attached on d board. did they cut off the wires and stick that small battery up? i will never know now. and the solar plate is broken by d repairer.
Oh noo! I am sorry this happened to you. To be honest, some shops do experiment with their customer's gadgets. Thus, things get broken instead of fixed. It happened to me once and I was furious! I hope you found a replacement for your calculator? I mean, they're not cheap to begin with.
Sorry, but you need to learn how to solder properly if you're going to be posting how-to videos that involve soldering. Having the correct tools and knowing how to use them properly also helps.
I bought a fake fx 991ex calculator, I can tell its fake because the solar panel isn't even connected to the board its just a tape stuck to it. Plus the battery drains fast....
Na dedeep clean kaya ito sir? I recently found my old calculator same model in the vid, and it is full of yellow stains pero works perfectly fine pa naman. Even though i have a new one, balak kong ibigay sana sa pinsan ko kung malinis na sya, sayang nmn kung itatapon kasi nagana pa naman sadyang nanilaw lang.

deep clean the yellow stains? If that’s the plastic then it’s degrading and cannot be removed. You can do full case replacements
