- A new 2.0 Build is available. The Awesome saUCE facebook group has instructions to get the latest version. It should be located on the same FTP site as demonstrated in this video but the new version is found under Version 2.0.
One step that I failed to mention. Please select Transfer from the ribbon. Click Transfer type and ensure binary is selected. Failing to do this will result in the client altering the content of text files and file names it deems non-ASCII. YOU MUST DOWNLOAD an exact image of the build (binary) or it will not work.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Format the USB drive as NTFS.
2. Extract the archive to the root of the USB. After extraction, there should be E:\content, assuming “E:” is your USB drive.
3. Plug the USB into the ALU, go to BYOG/AddOn, and launch RetroFE. First time launch takes some time to initialize things. Subsequent launch will be instant.

so how can I get access to get the ftp info? I requested to join the facebook group 3 or 4 days ago and I've got nothing

I don't know if I've seen a list but for most of the systems below nearly every game on that system is included. It's really a huge number of games.

Im new to this, great video! I downloaded the 1tb awesome sauce but i dont have any usb sticks that are that big, can you show us how to make smaller versions like say just some PlayStation games or just nes, but between 30-120 gig sticks are what i have so at least for now just a PlayStation usb sounds good although i know it will only be a few games. Thanks man!

Bro Im new in this community (Arcade, Cabin Game) and im trying to add play station games, dream cast games and Psp game to my Legends Ultimate Mini but i Bought it with COINOPSX its have many games like 7000 but i dont have PSX, PSP or Sega Dreamcast on it... This is my question can i add this console games on it? And how can i do that? Thanks

Bad info and links, the provided archive is for the obsolete no-longer-functioning 1.0 build. You need the 2.0+ build for it to work.
Hi, thank you for the video. I am getting after a couple of FTP in FileZilla successful file downloads the following error message:
530 Sorry, the maximum number of clients (20) for this user are already connected.
then I have to stop everything, wait a bit and start from scratch, anything I am doing wrong? I will never finish the download in months

just a followup, I tried with the zipped version and it was successful. It took a day to download but it finished.

Does a blank build op onesauce exist? A build that contains no games so I can curate and add them myself?
The closest is the arcade build which is just the base build plus arcade games. You can then add the other packs or drop games into the correct folder to curate yourself.
@@ThunderBob The arcade build is still 500 games or more though. I'm not looking to add things. Instead I want to strip it down to the bare essentials and have a list of around 150-200 arcade games that are all garanteed to work on the ALU. But I'm a bit stumped on how to remove games because the file structure is rather confusing. I would also like to remove parts of the UI.
@@thatssomegoodpie If you go to the folder where the roms are stored and delete a game it will stop showing up on the game list. You can also go in and find the game art to save space but just deleting the rom or mame file will prevent it from showing up.
Games are located in this folder and I think all of the arcade pack should be in the Mame folder G:\content

It should say zip. Click on that to download. I just tested a few minutes ago. The torrent was not working for me a few days ago.
Torrent and zip are live now ..
I think the Torrent might be broken. Just tested it again and running with Qbitorrent it finishes with a 221kb file size.@@tolust

Heads up, 2.0 is out, aka the "real" 2.0. Apparently, the Nov 2023 aint even the real one. Please make a video about it.

Where do you see this? Also I cannot get a download manager to work anymore now that I have a big enough hard drive. What is going on with all this?
