I have so many LaTeX macros and muscle memory that I don't think I'll switch anytime soon, but this seems objectively better and easier to learn.

Same. I learned LaTeX - as I understand typst, LaTex is still a more versatile typesetting system, but typst is an absolute game changer for those that want to typeset papers and don't want to use LaTeX.

I made a script in Julia to translate to some level my tex files to typst. Working with typst is so much faster and enjoyable, and you require almost no packages.

Cool! If I'd had this earlier, I could have shaved off years of learning how to format LaTeX.

LaTeX is archaic although still usable. Typst is modern an enjoyable.

3:14 You can use ge in Vim to go to the end of the previous word, but if you wanted to be even faster you could do [s to go to the previous spelling mistake

I've been looking into this and I really like it. The one thing is that I haven't found a way to draw circuits like I can with circuitz

I recently discovered Typst. It turned out to be very convenient. But I haven't figured out yet, is it possible to track the changes made in an already compiled pdf file relative to the previous version?

I use C# and Python daily, but I still hate Latex-it's an arrogant machine. Sorry to say that.
