That’s a thing about the Sonic franchise I always dislike: so many characters with awesome designs end being so underutilized due to either the low quality of the games they’re introduced in or the decent quality of spinoff games that people hardly play/acknowledge (like Blaze the Cat, Jet the Hawk, Sticks the Badger, and - to an extent - Cream and Cheese)
They aren't in this, yet Big the Cat made the cut...?
They might appear in season 4 ( MIGHT!!!! mainly because of what happened in season 3's ending so again MIGHT)

Metal Sonic from Sonic CD and Sonic Heroes is the one everyone remembers, but there have been like seven different Sonic robots in the games over the years (and at least of them were mass produced). I assume the creators just wanted to make their own contribution to Sonic's lineup of evil robot clones instead of using one of the existing ones.
