Only 331$ for 1st place in Blazblue, that's what's happening. No reason for anyone to try to win the tournament at all costs, so you see low tiers winning. It's called "professional player" for a reason, they need to get paid. The better the prize, the better the competition. Now this celica player can go home and order burger king for 1 month. Who will turn up to put in the work if it's only measly 331$?
@@kaiok6776no Japanese in the top 6 from what I can tell… pretty much says it all.. were any in tournament? This doesn’t look like the highest levels of play… but that’s nothing against the players. A celica winning is still great but for real no souji, fenrich, dogura, skd, monarch etc…

@@Kesvalk my issue is tho with a new release people would probably play and stick to the game for a while, like i have friends who are just getting into the game and there’s basically no new players left, so they’re just getting their ass beat with no fair matched
Man, it was so hype to see that Astral in Loser's Finals...and then the stream cut away instead of letting it rock. Not cool, you should always let Astrals or even Supers like that play out. You can wait until the actual KO/Finish/etc bit pops up on screen to switch back to player cam.
