No. This is actually a good conversation. Jesse is testing Matan and the kid is showing he can be respectful. Humble. Admit his ignorance of issues and change the subject when he wants. He is fair. Doesn't take the Bait to agree to anything rah cist. Usually Jesee controls the conversation and tries to put people on the spot and shock them to get a reaction. Hes trying to make people uncomfortable so that they aren't sure how to respond. This is a way to control the conversation. Matan not only didn't falter, but he didn't break character. He's far more mature and intelligent then most of the guests Jesse has on

I don't get how it's so hard for people to see, like many of his trollings were for example whatever argument that traps the person he is talking to. You need to be somewhat smart to come up with the traps. I don't know what prosentage of Jesse is trolling because For Sure some is mixed with most of his watered down real opinions. Like say he has an opinion and thinks a way to present it in the most extreme way. Because no one is like that while being cool calm and collected, that far out people are uduslly the raving crazy ones. He is clearly smart too even if you, I or anyone would be disagreeing even with every topics opinion he brings up. One other I just couldn't get for years why people are saying this person is dim is Asmongold.. while he is giving some based really well logically going point by point arguments. I think some people look Everything else first than what people are saying and then weight the words by that. Like in case of Asmon they look how lazy he is aka his room and how he live and deduces that he cannot be smart and right 🤨 Then you just need to yourself be quite dim to not get the point (now he is seen as fairly smart guy for sure). Another being like someone saying Jesse or whoever.. Tate, they wouldn't be one because the person disagrees with the far out opinions, but it is not really if you agree. It is can they make a cohesive point from their perspective, then ofc take into account being objective and seeing where is hyperboles etc. Like Jesse is for sure super conservative, but I just don't beleave in the end he is Like This off the show because it is that.. a show. Well I don't beleave he is like that for being Serious, more like an exaggerated character. Just like the catchphrase of: "Amazing" 😅 when he disagrees. Like c'moon. Just fooling people to think it's 100% him is smart or even the doubt that is created and not cleared.

Matan was handling this interview like a well rounded, intellectual. He answered basically every question in a coherent and well articulated manner. And did it respectfully.

I think it's a trait of wisdom as well, wise people are keenly aware of how much they don't know, and they'll always wrestle with ideas and moral quandaries. Where other people just throw up walls in the interest of being right. Wisdom is often mistakenly associated with age alone, but anyone can be wise, asking probing questions, challenging prevailing theory, and more importantly, being willing to admit when someone else has a better perspective promotes growth. This young man seems very humble and wise, he questions, and challenges the interviewer, but he's also willing to admit the logic behind perspectives he hasn't considered, particularly when considering the ideals of mourning a loved one. I'm turning 40 and I still gain interesting perspectives from people on life, even from those younger than me!
