Fr like I like my Polaris but nothin wrong with doo my buddy had one thing was great but once again these are mountain sleds not trail sleds this kids just a dumbass😂
I live right on a trail and nearly everyone I see on the trail has a mountain sled and half of them are running some extremely loud can. I saw Zak a few weeks ago in Houghton, hindsighting I guess it was went he was buying his new Polaris. He was on his phone out in the parking lot and his dad and friends were inside the business bitching about something. What a bunch of tools the come off as.

i am honest to god confused by your actions of building a new summit then having a couple issues with the build witch that normally happens getting i have found that when building anything bike sled quad is never simple and being so hyped just to test it in a couple inches of snow and decide you dont like it and trade that wonderful built btw u did a great job with it for a stock polaris no hate im just confused glad you got what you wanted and are having fun

It’s the tuning for high altitude, I’ve seen so many mountain sleds blow up because they change the clutch but didn’t retune the computer for low altitude.
I cant speak for anything other than Skidoo. But Skidoos you dont have to touch a thing… Its like your car… It will adjust to elevation… Your clutching? Will not… 👍
@@HK-bx9ke Wrong. If that was the case then every time you rode the sled between low elevation & high elevation you’d have to go into the dealer and connect to buds….. I can promise you on any Skidoo Ive owned and worked on Ive never had to do that…. (Skidoo tech here…)

It was just an exhaust temperature sensor. Almost positive. Next step you need to go Cat. Cat has never had recalls like Polaris lol. Reliability is the key Cat makes the best motor on the market. Hands-down.
I’ve had everything went from a cat to a few Polaris sleds (2016 800, 2017 850) to now finally a skidoo. I love my gen 4 850. Most reliable sled I’ve owned so far

My summit does that sometimes when the air vents get clogged with wet snow. Usually when the engine is heated up enough it keeps the vents thawed off better. The mesh is too tight.
Imagine I rode a sled for 6 years tring to figure out what was wrong with it... The very last year of owning it is when I put my finger on the problem...

Depends on what kind of snow conditions you wanna ride.. I just went through the same situation.. comparing a 146 to a 154.. I went with the 154 due to I like riding in the hills more than trails. I ride trails to get to the hills but thats about it. A 154 can handle like a 146 if you know how to ride it and it’s a lot easier side hilling and choosing lines.. but if your mostly on trial get the 146.

The way you were riding that sled specially being new you cannot squeeze the throttle to bar and expect it to not blow up.. I'm sure it was rider error and inexperienced of breaking in the sled properly.

Here I thought snow check meant I got mine first then joe shmo gets his off the show room floor after. 😂 we have 48” on the ground, come ride Wildhurst lodge in Finland Mn, we’re at 2000ft in the sawtooth mountains and tons of area to explore!

I need to get a crossover machine even though I ride me in the powerlines and pipelines in 6 feet of snow with a trails Sled already have 5 feet were I live and you are riding mountain machines in 4 inches all though I can see why you like the mountain machine riding style I find it’s sad that I ride 129 in super deep snow and you are riding 155 in 4 inches I get stuck a lot but that’s what makes you a good rider and if you can side hill a 129 you can side hill anything I think you should have gotten 146

Just a little advice from somebody much older. Write it the way you plan on writing it the rest of your life without a break-in. Especially since it's under warranty.
@@aerithgrowsflowers if there is a bad manufactured part that needs to be replaced. It is cheaper to have it done under warranty. If you start breaking it in the way you ride and nothing breaks. There is a very good chance it never will and it will always perform the way you want it to.
