Man, this run is seriously inspirational! I'm training for my first ever arcade-level 1CC, and I can typically get between the stage 5 midboss 2 and the boss. I want to clear this game live for Shmup Slam 7. It's just such a killer game. I love the action, visuals, music... everything about it. Your precision in your movement is something else. I'm gonna have to hyper and bomb through some of these patterns--that's just where I'm at in my skill level! But I'm gonna use some of your routing and try to focus on moving carefully and bombing intentionally (as opposed to using the auto-bomb). Anyway, thanks for posting! Can I ask what your favorite shmup is? Or maybe your top 5 if one is too hard to choose? Cheers!
@@ArcadeHell Thanks for the comment! This game can be quite opressive at first but once you get more familiar with the mechanics you learn how to break the game apart without much trouble. The biggest thing to learn is how to abuse the i-frames, especially from hypers. You can use that time when you activate your hyper to pretty much instantly fill a new one by pointblanking while invulnerable. With just this I guarantee that your journey with this game will become a lot easier. And my favorite shmup is Mushihimesama Futari. Love everything about that game! Aesthetics, soundtrack, scoring, survival, game modes and the shot types. It's kind of insane how everything in that game lines up precisely with my tastes (it even has tons of image/color configuration on the 360 port that is just perfect to make the game look just like I want)
Woah dude another Cave shmup flawlessly done as well as no hypers to boot? Great job as always!
