thanks for this tip. heading to my local farm and garden stores. i havent made any dead wood in 8+years ive made bonsai because i could never find the lime sulfer for a reasonable price. have a bunch of junipers and pines and tropicals. love shinto, mame and shohin sizes most of all.
You definitely scored, but I think you got lucky with a guy who had some older inventory. There is no more of that concentration available in the US. Some EPA or USDA deal. I would buy every bottle he has.
I got these at an Amish farm store near Lancaster PA. But it turns out that the manufacturer is also nearby, and I might be able to get it in 5 gallon quantities too. Miller Chemicals in Hanover PA.
Lime sulfur has been illegal to sell in most states for several years. You can buy it online sometimes.
