Explore the wilderness of Norway: 3 days of hiking in the mountains

We spent three days in the majestic Langsua National Park, experiencing everything from sunny days to strong gusts of wind and rain showers. With heavy backpacks and a strong will, we explored the untouched forests and impressive mountains in the area. From crossing picturesque streams to exploring mountain cabins and pastures, the trip was a true test of our endurance and ability to adapt to the constantly changing conditions. By sharing our experiences and reflections from the trip, we hope to inspire others to experience the beauty and challenges of exploring Norway's magnificent nature.
Langsua has previously been known as Gausdal Vestfjell and Huldreheimen, and even further back, as the gateway to Jotunheimen. With the establishment of Langsua National Park in 2011, the area was given the same name. Cows and sheep grazing are a common sight here. Good fishing opportunities, mystical old-growth forests, endless marshes, and a rich birdlife are also classic features of Langsua.
