I remember watching this film as a kid. Looking back I never even contemplated the possibility that they were CG characters (even though they were). They were incredibly convincing for the time! It'd be interesting to see how Imageworks would created those characters today with more refined tools for hair simulations and cloth and detail.
ANTHONY A Well how about the Fact that 3-D Animation looked Simple back in the Day and there Test's Nowaday's Animation Test's look more Realistic and have gotten Better so 14 Year Old Computer running an Animation Test was Simple it looked like and Now they that Screen on Computer's are Easier to see and not like the Old Computer Screen with it's Low Quality Screening so that's how i think How.
Isaiah Sanders No kidding, to me just by listening 👂 to James performance and his voice on the villains he voices like Phil on Recess: schools out, Falcon in Stuart Little 2, and Hades in Hercules he does it in a way like on the outside they're funny 😂 and quite possibly Charismatic but on the inside they are scary, mean, and sooner or later turned out to be the films main antagonist.
The Falcon and Green Goblin were the scariest villains I saw as a kid, even now they are still pretty terrifying, have to say Falcon is one of the most underrated villains in movie history.
To create the perfect animal villian, you need to pick the right creature for the bad guy by learning the facts & looking at the creature's appearance, Than find the right voice actor for the character (appearance, size, & personality), Next to make your audience scared: use superb/no-nonsense/malicious dialogue, brilliant voice acting, an outright evil personality & evil actions, & finally, make your villian a three-dimensional character.
This is something I loved about old school films. Its the thought film makers would put into the characters, even testing to how intimidating their voices were. As well as detail in every movement the character made right down to the very last hair. I loved this about old films, because it really gave such a good quality. Now days it feels as if films get to rushed in their production and/or film makers dont care as much in the quality. It seems like half the films that are made film makers find someone and literally just throw them into the film set without trialling their qualities. Don't get me wrong films such as Star Trek, Avengers, and some Disney remakes are good and have some fantastic actors, but its films like Battleship, Terminator Genysis, ect... .. .
Walt Disney said "If you can dream it, you can do it, and don't let anybody say you can't". This is my biggest dream goal of bringing the 2-D animated style from Disney once again and I'll be a movie director as well.
Michael Valdes That would be Awesome to Watch a Normal Human VS the Devil of Hell and all are Chance for not going to Hell rest's with you Milo Thatch.
People did an excellent job making Falcon a superb villain, James Woods voicing or otherwise, for Stuart Little 2. But you know, his personality and motives make me unable to help but wonder if they might have designed him to not just be the bad guy, but a product of his time. Unlike Niju in Balto 2: Wolf Quest and Soto in Ice Age, both of whom at least had a reason for being as they were that was understandable and tragic and maybe gave them some depth(fear of losing home and wanting to avenge slain pack members, respectively), Falcon was one 2002 movie antagonist whose motives were as loathsome as himself. You know, greed, selfishness, conning others, enjoyment of terrorizing and/or tyrannizing whoever he could, whenever he could? And it's a well-known fact that the early 2000s, which is when Stuart Little 2 takes place, had an incredibly nasty cynicism and really nihilistic sarcasm, something which, whenever he spoke, figuratively and literally fit the bill in terms of being that way. Indeed, he certainly qualifies in terms of that particular matter of the early 2000s. So how much of a chance do you think there is that the "product of his time" thing applies to Falcon?
I always did think Sony Picture's Imageworks does an Awesome Job in there Animation and Making things look Believable even back when Technology was Old and they still did an Amazing Job making it look like Today's Movie's kind of Animation Movement :)
klassicalmuzik The sarcasm and the manipulation. Maybe it's the fact that the Falcon is a con man and robber, like Hades is an underworld version of a car salesman.

It's a shame James Woods is the kind of person that he is now, he seemed like a great dude at the time. Now he's just a veteran bashing, homophobic Trumpite. Terrific actor though. But that respect has since then lost its value because of what he has wholeheartedly decided to represent in this day and age.

Margalo looks very animated but the Falcon looks soooooooooooo real.....
So is Stuart, but I think they animated them that way so they relate more to the human characters.
Thank you for sharing it..really remembering some of the best moments in childhood watching this stunning visuals at past.

A raptor that sounds like Hades.... Good choice
that's because it's the same voice actor.
I think of it as Stuart VS Hades if you know where i'm going with this.
