You really smashed that pad!!! Great paper. I am so ready for spring too. We had a couple of days of 60 degree weather and now we are back in the 30's. Very disappointing, but my violets, primroses and daffodils are blooming and my tulips are popping up, so there is signs of spring coming. Just not today!!!!
Thanks, Mary! Yes, we keep getting glimpses of spring weather and then winter pops back in to let us know he isn't done yet. We have buds on the trees and my spring bulb sprouts are starting to pop up too. Come on spring!!!
I didn't list it in the description because it is a really old Hero Arts stamp set called Everyday Sayings. I think it was one of the first stamp sets I ever bought and I've kept it because it is so versatile and always comes in handy!
You make it look so easy and flawless, I envy how you can just put everything together with a sketch….my struggle is with combining things together….but as I watch your videos it gives me more inspiration to get out of my comfort zone and try doing what you do. Thanks for the video and the inspiration. And hey the struggle is real 😂
I can have the same struggle as I'm not good with color combination, but that's why I stick to using paper from the same paper pad because they do the combination for you! It really helps...:)
Thank you! I do understand the struggle! I agree with Paula's comment about using paper packs or kits. Also, don't be afraid to play! Lay things out together without gluing them down so you have an idea of how they look together. You can always switch pieces out until you find something you like.
Until you took this pad apart all at once, I never realized how much pink there was in this pad!😂 I mean it’s florals, so sure, but the light pink in everything did surprise me and the darkest pink has always read as a red to me. And I have this, so it shouldn’t have been a surprise, lol! You did a great job, and it didn’t look like you struggled at all! I was proud that you had green cards and other cards that weren’t pink because you could easily have made every card have some pink in it - since I know that’s your color!
Thanks, Rhonda! I was actually surprised by the amount of pink as well! They were kind of weird shades of pink, too. So I was actually glad they included black and green.
theses are all wonderful ...... many thanks!! Jill

It’s fascinating watching these all come together! Would you tell me the name of your greetings stamp set? It looks very versatile?
I didn't list it in the description because it is a really old Hero Arts stamp set called Everyday Sayings. I think it was one of the first stamp sets I ever bought and I've kept it because it is so versatile and always comes in handy!

Yes, I agree with Paula that using a kit or paper pack makes it easier to put combinations together!

I often photograph what I'm creating, it really helps see the composition better.@@BourbonCreekCrafts
Another question: how did you print the sketches in a small size?
I copy the images into a word document and then resize them so I can fit 4 to a page.
