In this video i go through all the necessary steps required to make the video game Fallout 3 Game of the year edition from the epic games store function with mods, this is done using the fallout Anniversary Patcher, script extender (FOSE), mod organizer for managing all the mods and making it easier for the user and avoiding making mistakes that come with manual installations so make sure to watch the entire, that way you won't miss any important step and make your fallout 3 GOTY epic games store version run as bug free as possible.

Do I need to run games through Mod Organizer to load all mods? Or through desktop shortcut already load all mods?

it failed in transferring when trying to download mods
edit : i fix you need to authorise nexus in mod organizer its in the wrench and screwdriver logo settings

What do I do if I get the error you mentioned (and initially shown) when checking the script extender version? I followed everything you did to a tee and ran into a problem at this point.. any help would be appreciated!
Did you launch the game from mod manager?

@@malsisko311 ok so i figured out what the problem was, you have to run the patcher.exe for it to actually downgrade the game to the right version
Whenever I try to open the Fallout Anniversary Patcher it just won't open into anything I can actually use

You must authorize MO2 in Settings -> Nexus to use the Nexus API. ı got this error can you help me?
perhaps the servers have some issues, try to wait for a day or two

You have to go to settings>>nexus and then he shows you nexus disconnected si you have to click the button connect and accept all the things he will show you

Maybe you didn't launch the game through mod manager
its saying something about archive invalidation
in the tools tab click profiles and make sure the automatic archive invalidation is checked
is this work with steam version too??

@@RedPixels... it is just a false positive, you can google this software if you like and you will notice that it is very trustworthy and open source so there is no way there could be any malicious code inside, if you are still not sure you can try using Vortex instead

Hey man thanks i followed everything and it went well. But whenever i run the fallout 3 exe in mod manager and check getfoseversion it has the not found error, but when i run the fose exe which came with the files and i hit the command there it shows fose version 1. So is it ok to run it using the fose exe? Or the fallout 3 exe is better?
