A lot of horses don’t behave without cross ties. And before you say it’s abuse, think twice about how needy the horses may be. We have a gelding that will paw at his stall door if he doesn’t get attention when schooling other horses. The cross ties are there to help the horse and rider, by making sure no accidents happen. I’ve been pushed into a wall when tacking up in a stall. Some horses just need it, some don’t. Please think before commenting. :)
I prefer to section the tail off into 3-4 sections and brush through each section individually. Works really well for my Gypsy. His tail is IMPOSSIBLY thick but we definitely want it to stay that way. :)
I use detangler 5 years now and I don't know how to brush tail or mane without it XD btw I'm from Slovenia next to Austria so I use one from Showmaste and it works great and you can find it on Kreamer's website
Be gentle when brushing through the tail. Try not to bully through and knots or snarls when your brush encounters them. Instead, work through them with your fingers.
Well also it’s normal for some hair to fall out while brushing because it was already loose but just stuck in there. And as you brush it falls out. Horses loose up to 5,000 hairs from their mane and tail per day 😅
Love how you treat your horses, and how much they trust you, you’re awesome
Please post more!! Even shorts with little tips! I love your channel! it helps so much
What I love about these vids along with the helpful info?? The fact that the horses aren't trapped in cross ties!!!
