actually Bajaj saved ktm twice from bankruptcy globally..at first bajaj bought 14% share of ktm...and then bajaj bought 48% of ktm's share... and these smaller capacity ktm's are jointly developed and designed by bajaj & ktm in Bajaj's chakan facility in pune...since ktm doesn't had any experience making smaller capacity bikes like 125,250,390 cc..

why neglect gps error? Gopros gps speed is so far the closest you can get if you are trying to determine the actual speed. Its not like the mobile phones which sometimes shows some delays because of network issues. V box is the most accurate which are used for motosports track cars and bikes and after that the most easily available is the gopro's gps speed indicators. So far its very correct.
Price wise its good but... We never asked for a price friendly 400cc. We wanted a bike that can rival the class leaders like duke , ninja, r3. Pulsar used to be costlier than other bikes and best performing machine. Now it has become budget friendly sports bike. I dont hate this bike but this is not the indian fans wanted .
People don't understand that Bajaj is trying to capitalize the market. Just imagine a person wanting to buy an R15, Apache 310, Gixxer, Karizma etc be it any brand at this price point will close their eyes and go for the NS400Z. Bajaj has given a very tight slap to all it's competitors at this price point😅
Seriously bajaj should launch Rs. 400 in 2.5 lakhs on road. That bike will do 180 plus on speedo and 170 plus on gps. And also a new design is required. A ducatti kind of look. 😅... Just imagine
Jab 150 se 250 cc k price mein 400cc de rahe hain toh zaroor koi jhol jhamela toh hoga hi iske saath, dominar bhi 3 lakh k upar aati hai on road. I'm suspecting that andar ka quality khatam rehne waala hai. Aur 1.8 l toh introductory price hai just to increase sales baadme toh price badhega iska.
Engine is same as dominar/older ktm 390, but the components which they used to reduce the price is clearly noticeable compared to dominar. jaise tyres ki size and quality dominar se poor hy, box type swing arm hy for cost cutting compared to aluminium swing arm of dominar, Bybre callipers k jagah koi new brand ki callipers h. sStill for the price its a very good machine and cant complain much and surely cant compare it quality wise from dominar, rr310,bmw, triumph, ktm 390 because some of these bikes are more than 1.10 lakh rs more expensive.
