Haven’t killed a bear yet but, I’ve put in a bunch of days and learned a ton about them. Putting in days in the backcountry has helped me in my day to day in so many different ways. I hope more people get to experience it!
Sure enjoy this video…. Going on the ‘long’ hunts does ‘resets’ one’s appreciation of the little things we take for granted!!!! Several days in a spike camp gives a hunter a true reflection of what’s important in life!

(I know you didn't mention socks but) Guys, the best socks I've ever owned are "Darn Tough" hiker socks. Life time warranty and crazy comfy. Go days no smell...
I'm watching Ryan's spring bear bag dump on the Peax channel, and he just mentioned he wears Darn Tough socks. So it looks like I'm preaching to the choir. lol

Middle of middle always on bears! Wondering have you guys tried apple or Samsung watches for a second phone line? I hooked mine up through my service provider, allows me to have a second way to reach out if phone is lost or busted that is always on me and accessible!
I think it's a great idea to have the watch that communicates with the inreach. We all have watches that can be used as our secondary devices now.

Have you tried match bullets on bears? I've started using it on deer/elk, the wound channels are fantastic.
We haven't. We just stick with what has been working for us over the years.
Do you see the same results on the middle of middle with archery as with rifle?
Yes. Will will have a video in the future that does a pretty good job of showing the chest cavity of a bear. Their cavity is not like an elk or deer, There is a lot of bone and mass up front on a bear. Their vitals sit much further back.
