Camp Cooking with Kids

What better way to get kids involved with camping then have them help make their own meal, safely. Get to the campsite. Boil your water. Drop their individual food pouch in the water. Heats up their chili. Cut the bag open and place the bag some paper towels sprinkle in their favorite toppingsand they have helped make their own meal. Call it something fun like camping chili or cowboy chili and you have a hit. The goal is to make them enjoy the outdoors and camping.

Thanks for the camping tip! I had never been camping until after I married. Our family always went to Panama City Beach when I was a kid. Back then you could rent a cottage for $50 a week

Absolutely you could do just about any kind of side dish or anything like that to make it easy and fun with kids and it’s also good for setting up a quick meal
