How does a mk5 jetta relearn / reset. No button in glove box
2013 golf r. I’m happy that you made this video. Just got my wheel fixed and the check tires warning popped up. Checked the pressure and it was actually low. Filled it to correct pressure but light still on until I found this video and hit the reset in glove box. Now it’s fine. Thank you
Dude missed the point. There is a problem with all pressures right, new sensors, DID the reset, AND YET STILL wont reset. Useless vid, bc he didnt understand the full question/prob.
I have a 2010 base Golf. It does not have reset button nor does it have it in the MMI. The light used to turn off automatically after resetting the tire pressure, but this time it won't turn off. Is it because the batteries died in the sensors? How do I fix it?

The problem with my 2013 Audi A3, it that it will not reset the time pressure. It says it cannot be reset.

My 2010 vw golf 2.5l does not have a reset button in the glove. And i tried the instrument panel. All have the proper amount of air and have tpms sensor

I have a 2018 mark 7.5 Volkswagen Golf. The TPMS keeps going on and off, and it's tied directly to the temperature reader outside. Every time it turns on it says it's -40 degrees out, even in the summer. It sucks because it's also connected to the AC in my car and if the temperature says that the AC shuts off. So like what the hell is going on
2015 VW Jetta TDI SE. My car has all tires same pressure but light is on. I try to reset, but pressure light wont turn of. Maybe you have some idea whats is wrong with it?

what happens if you try and reset the tyre pressure and whenever you try it says it’s unable to carry out this function is the abs sensor broken?
2009 vw jetta gli does not have a button. At least my car... supposedly the computer resets it automatically....after a few miles after replacing a tire or new tires
I installed an after market radio and I was told that the reset button in the glove box will not reset the TMPS. The tire shop said since I removed the stock radio, it is interfering with the communication with the TPMS sensor. I took the car to the VW dealership and they tried to reset the TPMS by pressing the reset button in the glove box and it did not work. Do you know if VW can reset the TPMS using the car's computer?

@@victorlopez2143 I think the VW shop where I used to live didn’t want to deal with it. Took the car to our new dealership and they just reprogrammed it just like the mechanic at Mr Tire said needed to be done. Good luck. Hopefully, your dealership is more concerned about customer service than making a buck. It’s not like I asked them to do it for free.
What if my 2012 VW CC Lux Limited does not have a reset button in the glovebox nor a reset in the display?

So what if, in a 2012 Tiguan, when you try storing the newly set tires pressures, it tells you that they cannot be stored?

My VW jetta dont have a reset botton, the light tpms is on every time. I install a new tpms but the system dont read.
so can the TPMS be set even if the light is off on VW Passat?
I've had my tire pressure checked and everything and after I've made sure that the tires are the right PSI I press the "Reset" button and it won't turn off. I've tried holding it too. Would you happen to know what would be the problem?

I have the same problem on my 2013 VW Beetle. All the tire pressures are 29 psi, exactly what they're supposed to be, but when I press the reset button the light will not go off

This video is totally out of date and is of no use to anyone in 2024.
Firstly tpms sensors have changed and you do get sensors that look like a standard rubber valve from outside the wheel so the video is totally misleading.
One of the most common problems is people setting the wrong tyre pressure. Vw’s usually have the tyre pressure chart within the manual, on the door jan or in the fuel cap door. Don’t Google pressures if your setting tpms, use the data from your specific vehicle.

they told me i need to drive the car 5000 miles so it will turn off after new tires i did push the botton but it keeps coming back on so they said drive it and my car should know it has new tires now
