Dilated is one of the best hip hop groups to see live. Make their own beats, write their own rhymes. Always have something extra for the heads. AND a DJ who can scratch and CUT! Straight Hip Hop.
As someone who has lived in Japan since 2006, I can confirm that whole story about Shibuya just being made of records. At that time, you couldn't sneeze without hitting a record shop. It was insane. Sadly, as most things go, a lot of those stores with the more, shall we say, "interesting" names have either closed down or moved to another part of Tokyo. However, there are still some amazing shops around Shibuya and other parts of Tokyo...
fan since day one still underrated ppl need to do there research and check there credits from dj muggs to alchemist to dj babu to evidence we had some raw west coast producers
@@MAARTN i understand the no biting part, hip hop culture lol. But it would be fun to see you just kind of talk about some of your collection, early experiences with music, how you got your start etc. You don't have to call it crate diggers or anything similar. I gotta come check out some more of your vids, it's been awhile.
@@dmondg3281 no he never invented the term. Babu you know you have alot of records when a micheal jackson thriller album falls off the shelf and you don't reconize it fell lol! Thanks babu and fuse Dialated Triple Optics!!!!!
I got a copy of that klaus wunderlich record at a local charity shop for 50p ! And babu is right it’s a great record if your in to the whole moog thing !!!
Love the series but I notice most of the records everyone pulls out are generally $20 dollar records - I mean Pulsion , great record but u can find that everywhere ... I guess they don't wanna pull out the $100 + records In case anyone else gets to find them ( crate digger rule no 4080)
That's probably part of it and also, a lot of these dudes are looking mostly for breaks and samples. Their main goal probably isn't to find that really rare record
Robert Moog (inventor of the highly influential Moog synthesizer) said his last name is pronounced like your saying rogue (the color). Its a common mistake.
Bring this series back!!

@Beat Junkies !
What did he mean by riverboat?
yeah I didn't get that either
Probably referring to Riverboat Records, a label that released a lot of generic World Music records.
