I'm on the hunt for bookshelves two to balance out and that black behind the sofa table. I'm giving away our teak wood living room table to my neighbor. We just do not have the room. Seriously certain pieces I'm not married to them! I'm going through a Swedish Death purge! I think it is great to buy cheap things if they are nice and you like them. I love IKEA, Zara and H&M for example. They have beautiful items. With IKEA furniture mixed with some second hand antique furniture you can create a really beautiful home with a low budget. In my opinion designers who only claim exepensive brands probably do it for a reason. They get comission or maybe they are unsure of their style or to get q bad reputation if they pick from chep stores. If you have a sence of style you can pick geat things and the cheap stores I mention follow trends. Great video as always Valentina! ❤

IKEA is amazing !! And they’re a bit far from me now ( I’m on cape cod ) then I found out they deliver aaaaamen! Ha plus they have soo many basics that you can decorate to make your own!! Don't be too sad because I grow plants like crazy in my house. Now I'm faced with purchasing all new larger pots, more soil, soil for cactus, soil for orchids, etc. Along with the back breaking messy chore of repotting them!
I accept fake plants if you can't recognise it from the first look. But sadly, those white cherry blossoms in the background look very cheap already in the video, so I guess IRL they aren't better.
Valentina had them placed in the perfect spot to. Target had those spheres planted strategicly so that cars won't drive into the front doors. Valentina's are by the 🔥 fireplace. I'm sure she wouldn't want anyone to stumble into her fireplace while having an epilepsy attack or a stroke. Valentina thinks of every situation!
a $900 rug ....at IKEA? This is NOT budget friendly , that's the price of a sectional sofa. But the pricing and style of the bed and the patio dining set are definitely budget friendly and gorgeous. (btw, I'm in love with your dog!)

What is at 2:51, that can’t be the Billy bookcase. I have the LOMMARP console & really like it. It’s in a holding place until I decide what to have hubs build or I find a piece I love to fill the wall. Ceilings are 11’ and I feel the wall needs a statement piece.

I LOVE my real indoor plants and indoor trees, BUT my cats chew on them, even though I buy non toxic, they ruin them, they vomit after, soooo faux is the next best thing and better for pets (they don’t bother with the faux).
Hi Valentina, I’m looking at the console table and it says it’s only 25” high. That seems so short! I’m worried it would look funny behind my couch which is 30” high. are your couches just really short? I think it looks good in your living room, but I’m worried it would not work in mine.
Faux trees are an interesting thing. They are made out of plastic which is incredibly damaging to the environment yet they are made to look like nature, it’s kind of ironic. The point of using plants indoors is to bring life and purify the air, both of which a piece of plastic cannot provide. It’s weird to me that you do not have real trees indoors with all the big windows. Maybe hire an indoor plant service to bring the specific trees that would thrive in your space?
