thank you so much, I stumbled across your videos after struggling on an assignment for 2 hours just trying to set up the perspective and this video finally made things click for me. this and the 'when to use 1 point vs 2 point vs 3 point' made me realize I was massively over complicating everything. you're a live saver!

If you understand the basics, the rest is just detail stuck onto the basics. 😀

This video is very helpful, you explain things clearer then others I’ve watched on this topic. I found drawing this in my sketchbook for reference has helped me understand things a little better then if I just watched the video.

@@stephentraversart yes, even for simple things such as my very basic watercolors, it adds so much to a composition.

You know when I first strted trying these, I kept getting the eye level and horizon line confused with the same thing. I would draw the figures in a scene like this connected to the horizon line and forget that I am supposed to create an eye level line for the figures.

Great. There can only be one eye level for every subject in the one scene, but it doesn’t have to be in the same place as the horizon, where the earth meets the sky. Keep on drawing, all the best. 😀
