Please do more of these! ADHD people need to meditate and addresses those things that might frustrate us in a different way than non-ADHD people. I've never felt more focused or motivated during my meditation. The only thing that's come close is the CBT-i app (a free app created for American veterans who have ptsd-related sleep troubles)
Thank you mate. I went off of medications a year ago. Started meditation, taking care of my sleep, viewing sunlight in the morning and scheduled my exercise from evening to morning. Reduced high dopaminergic activities like gaming, tv shows and porn. Feel so much better and have more energy as with stimulants. It’s crazy. And when I fall back into gaming or watching some adult stuff it feels way more intense, almost too intense and I know it’s not good for me because it’s desensitizing me to regular activities. I visit this video a few times a month. It’s perfect length
I just want to add We’re not disordered we are wired different, needing specific tools , like these videos to help us function and unleash our superpowers (not our disorder)
It's a disorder, and they're upsides, not superpowers. ADHD shouldn't be stigmatized and it's not the end of the world. It makes us different, but not lesser. But it's not a lucky break, either.
Yeah look the intention is definitely good, but I personally do not identify as having superpowers. I have impairments and barriers that have come close to ruining and ending my life. Everyone's experience is different, and I'm not going to invalidate anyone's experience of enjoying positive aspects of their ADHD, but I have not had that and don't want my overwhelmingly negative experience invalidated either.
Wow - that was the best guided meditation practice I've ever done. So easy, not like counting your breaths or whatever. This would be good to do before going to sleep. :) Thanks!
I only became sleepy after this and also were very easily distracted by thoughts. Is it possible that after meditating for a couple of weeks i will be getting less and less distracted?
Yes like every other skill it requires practice. Even if you just manage 10 seconds of an actual meditative state, next time you may manage 30 seconds, then 1 minute, then 2 etc. Sometimes it may not work at all which is okay too. Educate yourself on what meditation actually is so that you can explore it and go deeper. All the best! Edit: Feeling sleepy is a good thing! It means that your mind and your body relaxed, so don't think that's "wrong" in any way :)
I have ADHD i have been watching some meditation vidoes they kinda help and at the end of one of your videos i found link to this video. Hoping it would help me better than you 10 min meditation video.
I loved this but using the word "disorder" to label the amazing beings we are irks me. We came here to change the status quo and the only time I feel disordered is when I, or others, are trying to make me fit in this neuro-beige-disordered cult we call society...the very thing we were born this way to change.
can you do one on Borderline Personality Disorder? i have done this one and the ptsd one since my symptoms are very close to both of these disorders and i love them xx i want to thank you for creating these videos. love from Canada!

The irony here is that I stopped at 5 other videos on the way to clicking on this one.
Fighting the urge to put this video on double speed....
Same. What is the long pauses 😭
Dude the pauses are killing me lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ooh, good idea 💡
🤣
Thank you mate.

If its not a disorder for you then you don't have ADHD lol. ADHD by definition is a disorder.
@@vitulus_ yeah. I think she is say that because she doesn't want to be labeled as disordered. she is coming from a good place

This is a very effective meditation for calming and focusing, and I've been doing it daily.
I will start doing this every morning starting tomorrow, thanks!!!

As a non native english speaker i want to say Thank you for your slow talking🙏
I was drifting off lol. Imaging what my sister's hair would look like on me 😳😂.
perfect voice 👌
perfect everything ❤
Thanks!
Thank you for your generosity!
Not too over stimulating. But simple enough so my brain doesnt bounce around and compilcate the instructions. Thank you😊
Been using this daily
Thank you! This is very helpful. While I was meditating I notice when a thought pops up i would get a sensation in my feet & stomach.
I have ADD and I have finally found this video.
Thank you sir.
Hey can you make guided meditation for adhd ( 20 mins) which is breath based : )
I only became sleepy after this and also were very easily distracted by thoughts. Is it possible that after meditating for a couple of weeks i will be getting less and less distracted?

Day 3 of meditating, my mind still drifts off from time to time, but i am noticing when and bringing mt self back to meditating.
Wowww thanks a lottt
Anyone else starting thinking about the body song? Body ody ody ody ody ody
No? Just me?
Body ody ody ody ody ody
Body ody ody ody ody ody ody.. *breathe* Body ody ody ody ody lol
I’m literally dying and I’m only 3 mins in.
That empty silence in long pauses. Definitely not good for someone with ADHD. I would expect a meditation to grab my attention more frequently.
It's an ok meditation, pretty standard breathing/body scan. Nothing really specific to an ADHD mind though
I wish I could get on meds too scared so came here until I get balls to get help
Same for me
I have ADHD i have been watching some meditation vidoes they kinda help and at the end of one of your videos i found link to this video. Hoping it would help me better than you 10 min meditation video.
The creator has also uploaded 30 minutes and 60 minutes meditation : )
What should I do if I am falling asleep like 5 times during this meditation and I can’t even finish following the short instructions? 😢
Oof sir you’re amazing but I can’t last at this pace😭
And you dared tell me where I could sit
1:13
Its to slow this tho we lose focus
😑🙏🏻
This is the same as all the other meditations he does. Nothing specific for adhd.

i skiped
adhd level 1000
Im sorry but literally the worst meditation Ive done as someone with adhd. I can focus better with anything else.
it’s the same as any basic meditation imo nothing special for adhd
I agree

love from Canada!
Hi fellow Canadian, good suggestion. It's on the list for future practices.
@@DeclutterTheMind thank you for ur reply❤️❤️❤️
i second this
I kept falling asleep😩
4:16 lol Why is that hard for me.
