Yeah, we do these one off videos every once in a while to break things up. Honestly, Jared just wanted to make this video because he was getting rid of the exhaust and wanted to talk about a little known feature.

This dash looks different than my SS. I thought they all had the same. one. There's no "track" mode? Was wondering how the exhaust compared to eachother in sport vs track

Pulling the npp fuse won’t cause any problems though correct? I pulled mine on my 2014 rs and haven’t had a problem just don’t want to be messing my car up without knowing or something

Yeah, just don’t do what I did and pull the WRONG fuse. I accidentally pulled the fuel pump fuse when I was getting the exhaust changed over to the AWE setup at the shop. Poncho had a code reader so he knew what was going on. We put that one back and pulled the correct one and reset the code. No codes or nothing after that.
Been like 3 months without it and no issues. I don’t even have the NPP valves installed anymore for it to even signal to anything. So long as you pull the right one, should be good.
Thanks for watching and the comment! 😁

I pulled the 51 fuse and it made my car feel like it was shuddering. It just didn’t feel right and when I put the fuse back in it ran like normal with no shuddering. I just leave it in track mode for the npp.

@@chrisx2015 Make sure it was 51. When I was at the exhaust shop I "thought" I was pulling 51. Immediately thew a code. As I was at the shop he put on a code reader and it came back fuel pump.
Looked closer and realized that I didn't pull the right one. Put the wrong one back in and pulled 51. Cleared the code, refired the engine and .... no issues.
My car doesn't have fuse 51 OR the NPP valves in the back anymore. Nothing for anything to communicate with as I now have the AWE axel back system on the car.
Hope that helps. Thanks for the comment and watching! 😉

The valves still close when ot goes into V4 mode.

Are you taking about the AFM valves? Those are different than the NPP valves.
Not aware of the NPP valves closing if you change the settings. Also, my car is a manual so I have no AFM valves to close into V4 mode because the care doesn’t do that.
