Bugsnax is not the kiddie game you’re expecting. It’s secretly a freaking horror game, just look at the last part of this trailer. Imagine if this literally becomes GOTY.
Oh yeah this is 100% a horror game. I actually messaged the devs who are known to respond to questions and asked if it was a horror game and they left me on read. They would have responded if they thought that idea was dumb.
Still disappointed that they removed swords, knives, axes, bows, crossbows, magic, and combat in general, but the new slingshot looks promising. Also disappointed that they removed many of the races that were in previous games. Oh well, you can’t always get what you want. Wonder how many times they’ll rerelease this one...
I think Bugsnax will honestly surprise people. It's by the developers of Octodad after all, and that game was a silly, whimsical fun experience. I expect Bugsnax to be no different.

It took me a few watches, but I finally remember what this animation reminds me of. Remember the game “Hello, Puppets!” ? I can’t help but feel with some of the developers worked on that game as well as this one. It still looks a lot more lighthearted than puppets was

Careful. It seems more for teens. Some of the "puzzles" are hard to find out. You will get stuck. There are also darker themes and homosexuality references. Not that that's a bad thing, but if you don't want your four year old to be exposed it can be an important piece of information.
Don't worry much about the dislikes as always they will fade away within hours, fanboys from certain console doing *damage control* are fast to draw the shots, but they aren't many, and they will drawn on the future likes. Anyway all consoles have fanboys, just ignore them
This gives me sort of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs vibes and it could be like Naughty Bear which looks cute n stuff but have dark undertones. Also it embodies the "You are what you eat" metaphor. I loved Octodad so I'm very intrigued about this.
